'ard Boyz... Fists vs DE

'Monger and myself played a practice game for 'ard Boyz today. I'm not sure of the name of the mission, but it was victory points with a few battle point bonuses... ie kill a nominated Hq and kill all the troops, etc. Dawn of War deployment.

'monger reserved most of his stuff for the portal and rolled what little else on first turn. I deployed 2 10 man tacs in fortifications.

I'm not going to into it turn by turn (i'm not EAP with the photo memory ), but most of his stuff came out pretty quick from reserve except 1 warrior troop. He shot the hell out of all my vehicles pretty quick, except the LR (I forgot to pop smoke 1st turn ). The sternguard shooting was fairly good until the beast units got ahold of them. Lysander and his termis faired pretty well and finally squashed 'monger's HQ ,but only after he toasted a dev squad and a tac squad.

'Monger ended up with a minor victory after counting VP's.

The link for the pics is missing. It was a good game. Lysander and his Termies were rocking pretty good . Luckily I immobilized his Land Raider which isolated him in Macks right hand corner of his deployment zone toward the end of the game. Thanks for the game Mack!
