I had 5 great games and had a great time.

Game 1 vs Dickie - Chaos Nurgle
-I misjudged the final distance and was short 1/2" on the Mule. Oh well. Loss.

Game 2 vs HoD - Lysander gunline
-One of the best strategic games I've played. Terrain played a big part in tis game. JP Libby with Avenger was MVP. Win.

Game 3 vs Pretzel - Imperial Guard gunline
-I think this was the first game I played Pretzel. Fun game with alot of color from Pretzel, reminded me of playing Napoleonics. My Drop Pods kept him in the DZ and kept the pressure on him. Win.

Game 4 vs Makari - Tyranids DOOM
-This game was the most tense game I've played in a long time. His Tervigon pooped out on 1st turn with 4 Gaunts. My Honor Guard wiped out his Tervigon and 30 Gants in 1 CC phase. I had it until the last turn. Makari made some tactically sound assaults and cleared the way for a win. Loss.

Notes on this game:
His inv rerolls weren't made in the first 2 turns.
Swarmlord only has an inv save in CC. He should have been dead by Melta shooting turn 3...

Game 5 vs Dickie - Chaos Nurgle
-Both of us didn't really understand the Mission and played the game not using our intended tactics. Both of our armies were designed to outflank but thought we had to deploy. Dickie thought the Chosen conferred Scout to a HS Land Raider. Loss.

Long day and beer had a factor but that's what you get.

My fault... I should have never made something that complex into the final mission.
By the time we hit the end, I was too tired (and had consumed too much bourbon) to even remember my intent when asked...

I am thinking, that 5 games in one day may just be ONE game too many!
Next time, I will certainly streamline (if I contribute).
