For this Journeyman League I started a Cryx army.
My two lists for the tourney were:

Round 1
V. Legion of Everblight
Saeryn
Scythean, Typhon, Seraph, Shredder, 2x Spell Martyrs, a Shepherd, a Deathstalker (cant remember what else)
This is my main faction so I knew what to expect. I went with Skarre. This was a little problematic, since I had never used her before. I just added the second list because there were a couple of bad match up for Denny. The scenario is Destruction. My opponent uses Saeryn. Ick. The objective I need to destroy ends up being behind a building. I am not fast enough to just slip past his army, so the game plan is to destroy his army. I flood the center of the board with Mechanithralls and kills them, then I bring them back. He’s able to get the Scythean to my objective and destroy it. Then he goes after the second with Typhon but cant quite kill it. This left Saeryn vulnerable, and I kill her with a booster Sacraficial Strike, a boosted Hellfire, and Banes under Dark Guidance. I could have gotten the assassination a roud earlier, but kaving not played Skarre before, I forget to collect the extra focus from the skarlock casting Ritual Sacrafice.
Round 2
V. Protectorate of Menoth

The Scenario is Gaining Ground. The board is a mess of terrain. There is a lake just outside my deployment zone and a forest beyond and to the left of that. I know Menoth has a lot of spell denial, so I chose Skarre again. I deploy the Banes to one side of the forest ant the Mech Thrall to the right.I run the Mech Thralls to the edge of the forest and the Banes start running around the lake. I should have gone second to try to mitigate some of my lack of terrain negation. Also, I should have some terrain negation in the list. The errants advance through the woods and annihilate the entire unit of Mechthralls. Meanwhile the banes are still running to get into position. By the time he finishes the last of the Mechthrals and the Necro Surgeon, the bane are in position. I pop feat, and just destroy most of his army. Bane Lord Tartarus charges into a pocket of troops and creates me some more Bane Thralls. They, in turn, charge into the Avatar, Crusader, and whatever troops I could reach. By the end, it was Kreoss vs. the world. He didn’t win.
Round 3
V. Protectorate of Menoth

Fire of Salvation, Avatar, Reckoner, Wracks, min Choir, Vassal, Errants + UA and Senchal
The scenario is Capture the Flag. I say, the hell with it and go with my Denny list. I wanted the terrain negation I can get with her. There is a building and a lake in the middle of the board with a thin corridor between them. I run Tartarus, the Pistol Wraiths, and Denny behind the building, while the Banes run to the my edge of the corridor. The Avatar and Reckoner advance to his edge of the corridor. Then he runs the Errants in a line between the lake and building. Denny moves up and pops feat. BLT move through the building and threshers the bejesus out of the Errants. He can self sacrifice only two, so I get three more Banes. The Pistol Wraiths get Death Chill on the two heavy jacks The banes in turn charge into the Jacks, but a couple bad roll leave them standing, albeit heavily damaged. My Sirens spray poision on the rest of the Errants effectively neutralizing them. Next turn, he kills the wraiths and some banes, but the jacks can’t go anywhere. Sevvy Ashes to Ashes a bunch of Banes, but a get a hot streak of Tough rolls. Unfortunately, BLT doesn’t make it. Next turn, I wreck the remaining jacks and the last of the Errants. The Withershadow Combine takes out the support models and a Nightwretch runs to claim my opponent’s flag. However his last Wrack is contesting it. On his turn he pulls a focus off the Wrack and it blows up. He tries to Kill what he can, but Denny’s stealth stops the spell assassination. I get a control point on his turn, then on my turn he can’ stop me from getting another, so I pass the turn and win the game.
Round 4
V. Cryx

Deathjack, Withershadow Combine, Warwitch Siren, Bane Lord Tartarus, max Satyxis Raiders + UA and Captain, Deathripper
I went with Denny again. I figure is could slow his forces down with debuffs and survive with tough troops. Man, those raiders are fast. Skarre debuffs my Banes and the raiders go in and kill them to a man. Denny feats, debuffs the Raiders, then BLT goes and kills a bunch of them getting me some Banes back. The Deathjack is bearing down on me so I feed it one of my jacks and hopefully spare my Withershadow Combine. The plan works. The Deathjack spends almost all its focus to kill the jack and can’t do anything else. My Skarlock make Denny ghostly, so I can walk through a building to within four inches of Skarre. I get a direct hit on her with Scourge and a monster damage roll. That drops her to one wound. I then Parasite her and the Withershadow Combine finishers her off.
This was a great tourney as I learned a lot about my new faction. Where I need to improve and to get back into timed turn tournaments. And it was a lot of fun.
