JUST WONERING

I thought at one time I had a "guest account" here.

Now it's saying I don't exist....

There is a tournament this weekend at the hobby shop.

It says "No Spam Armies allowed".

I called the TO at the store and he said spam units means that you can't take multiples of the same unit "kitted" the same way.


Now they are saying you can bring imperial knights? How can you not spam this army?



To make sure that I am not "spamming" something on accident I am bringing a highlander army list to the event and then I am going to look at all the lists there so I can figure out what is allowed and what is not.


It seems much easier to say x with y and z are not allowed. Just confuses me even after speaking with the TO.



Ok then. I will be there and I will have a good time anyhows.

I think i played against your eldar in a tourney up at the bookery in fairborn. They were red if you are who I think you are. (I am often wrong and dumb.)


I also know edge and eric miller. (A couple weekends ago I met and played with Chris Mcantosh. ~He CRUSHED my DE. )

This will be my first tourney in 7th ed.

Looking forward to it.

As I said prior, I am running a highlander nids list.

So only one of any given unit. Totally NOT the way I normally play the army.

But I couldn't even think of a way to get a DE list together without spamming something. Either a ton of raiders or a ton of venoms....


I think I am going to use this tournament to feel out the venue and see what they allow and don't in regards to the spamming issue.... Also to get some 7th experience as well as just have a good time.




I will also have my conquest stuff if anyone wants to throw down between rounds of after the event.

I regret using the term "spam", and I am sorry. I just don't want to see folks showing up with Internet lists using formation or detachment A 15 times in their list. All in all, everyone that has been attending and that I think will be attending, it is NOT an issue.

No one is going to consider a jet bike or SM bike list spam. That would be saying you can't bring your Ravenwing. I don't think anyone considers DA Ravenwing broken. I'd know because I have been tabled playing with mine

Imp Knights. The only restriction is the fortifications and Super Heavy LoW.

Going forward there will be very few limitations, if any. I think the missions will level the battlefield for players to bring what they have.

You can always PM your ideas about your list and I will give you feedback, if needed.

No worries. It actually made me paint up some units that would have just gathered dust anyway so it was a good thing really.



Do you have a public forum handle that I can pm questions to in the future?
