We had a record breaking attendance for today's Warhammer 40K Sunday Battle 1/15/2012 at The Soldiery Columbus; 20 Players & 3 Vistors. The sides were; 6 Eldar, 1 Dark Eldar, 1 Ork, 1 Blood Angel vs. 6 Marines (1 Standard, 2 Spacewolfs, 2 Bloodangels,1 Templar), 2 Tau, 2 Necron, 1Ork. We played the Third Eldar Mission "Mobile Defense"; 4 Turns played, 5 Objectives fought over and the Eldar won by holding 2 Objectives, the Marines held one, and two contested. Folks voted for ORK Missions the next future Sunday games.

We had a Pot Luck of; 24 Hot dogs w/buns, a Gallon of Beef, Bean, & Onion Chili, a Bucket of KFC Chicken wings, Potato & Corn Chips, Pretzels, Cookies, Banana Nut Bread, Peanut M&Ms, Oatmeal Creme pies, & Veggie Tray, and folks also enjoyed a FREE G.W.S. figure(s) at the end!

I attended Warhammer 40K Patrol Night 2/28/2012 at The Soldiery Columbus
There were 9 players.
I played a 500pt vs. 500pt battle of my Space Marines vs. Erik's TAU, the "Pitched Battle" set up was rolled and I won 1st setup. Erik did not seize the Initative. I WON the Battle; 4 Kill Points to 2 Kill Points.
I destroyed a Hover-tank w/Rail-Gun, Squad of Fire Warriors, and 2 Battle Suits.
I lost to Erik a Scout Squad w/4 Sniper Rifles & 1 Heavy Bolter & a Devastator Squad w/2 Las-canons, 2 Missile Launchers & 1Sgt. w/Boltgun. I was also down 1 Scout w/ Bolt pistol and Knife & 1 Space Marine w/ Heavy Bolter.

We had a Great Turn out for Warhammer 40K Battle today March25th, 2012 at The Soldiery Columbus this afternoon; we had 16 Players & 3 Vistors!
Second Ork mission "WAAAGH!!!" Fighting over 5 Objectives; 3 Bunkers held by Orks at start & 2 Bunkers held by Marines at start. 3Orks, 2Eldar, 1I.G., 1SpaceWolf, 1Necron vs. 3SpaceMarines, 3Blood Angels, 1 SpaceWolf.
We played 4 turns and 4 Bunkers held by Orks & Allies (2ork, 1necron, 1eldar)
and 1 Bunker contested by Marines & Orks.
Sadly my Orky Warboss "Eroc Fat-Gutz" & his boyz mob went down fighting Thomas's Space Marine Capt. with a Lighting Claw & his Tactical Squad after destroying their Land radier tank. But my Deff Dreadknought got revenge and killed him. My Big Mek w/power-field generator & his Burnaz boys & 3 Killa-canz w/rocket-launchas squadron were fighting James's Tactical Squad defending the bunker to contest it.
Folks enjoyed a FREE Gamesworkshop figures afterward.

So Orks are 2Wins & 1Loss, and won the series of three games!

Chaos lost init roll on a "1" Empire went first
Played 5 turns and CHAOS WINS!! 74 to 33 Salvage Points

Eroc Ravenger attacked a Unit of Space Wolves, Killed 2 and made his saves. Space wolves failed morale, he failed Init Check and they escaped to a crater. Ravanger went to cover of sandbag wall. Then he gunned down by the Space wolves. His troops scored 12 Salvage Points.

Victory for me, I wiped out James' Tau in the 5th turn.

Yes, You can have a double force organization chart as well; must have then 2HQs & 4Troops from your chosen Army List.

Last Sunday's Big Battle Game Day at The Soldiery Columbus
I blew up the Enemy Ammo dump with Basilisk Barriage & killed serveral troops around it. Pounded on Enemy Medical Building held by Necrons, they made alot of saves & reactivation rolls after being shot; only killed three of them.
I lost 6 Leman Russ Tanks, 3 Basilisks S.P.G.s w/earth shaker cannons, 3 Chimeras A.P.C.s, 1 I.G. Company Commander & staff Squad (+1 V.P. to Enemy; "Slay the Warlord"), 1 Veteran I.G. Infantry Squad. The Remaining I.G. Veteran Infantry Squad Charged a squad of Dark Eldar and killed them on the last turn and captured the Enemy Fuel Dump gaining +1 Objective Victory Point & +1 Victory Point for "Line Breaker" (In Enemy Deployment Zone).
