| If you are truly done with them, eBay them. Then there's no going back or relapse.
Makes me glad I eBayed mine a long time ago.

| Nah, I won't dump them...I am really WAY too fond of the models.
I WON'T be playing games with Coteaz, or psiflemen, for quite a while though. Working on terminator heavy (with Dreadknights) list for shites and giggles, and playing with pure Power Armour/termie lists for a bit...and dumping the default Psibacks as well (in favor of rhinos, and other flavors of 'backs).
Worst part about it is, if Ward just had; -kept with the armies innate challenge(weakness) by never included riflemen/psiflemen(and yes, there's a precedence for it), -coupled with the dropping of Psykotrokes AND finally -charged a reasonable amount of points for psibolt upgrades (on vehicles), there would never have been quite this 'steamroller-esque' feel to the list.
3 minute changes, and the army becomes a good, balanced competitive lists that are challenging to both players.

| Yep, I would add Coteaz's 84 point troop choices to EAP's list as well. | |

| in truth, loss of the rifleman/psifleman neuters that build/those units fairly well...requiring investments in far more expensive equivalent units/models (jokaero/lasbacks/las-krak dreads etc). I blame the psifleman, & psiback to a lesser degree, almost exclusively 4 the overbearing power of the codex. | |

| True. Those two units are hateful when you cannot shake or stun them. Plus, point cost is stupid low for what you get. | |

| Aside from the Psifleman Dread, which I think is the most points efficient unit in the codex, you can make a comparable Coteaz list using Vanilla Marine or Blood Angels. It would be slightly higher in points but more resilient and have more to offer.
EAP- Post up your Coteaz list and I'll show you what I have been mulling over since your OP here.

| I'll play.
you 'can' do anything this army can do (shooting-wise), with another roughly equivalent SM or IG list... you just can't quite get there, and that quite is what pushes it over the top.
the list I took to EGC was as follows (roughly)
coteaz xenos inq (super grenades of doom and weakness)
purifiers (x10) psiback Vindicare
GKSS psiback GKSS psiback Henchdudes (2x melta) chimera Henchdudes (2x melta) chimera Henchdudes (2x plas) chimera Henchdudes (2x plas) chimera
Psifleman Psifleman Psifleman
now, my list was built around a few concepts that are ANTI-efficient.
if you take it to the next step, eschew the use of more expensive/specialized units, it becomes even more obscene
(think in terms of 8+ psibacks, a real assault element, a land raider, and retaining all the geegaws previously mentioned...backed by a libby instead of xenos inq...THAT'S the truly threatening list)
an additional factor of GK buggery is, while becoming more efficient than their MEQ equivalents, the advent of 'fortitude' forces players to adopt less efficient (points wise) methods of dealing with the Mech (lascannon for instance) to increase their chances of neutering/killing blows. forcing your opponent to adapt his meta to deal with yours (in an increasingly costly fashion) magnifies your own efficiency quite a bit.
