Feast of Blades, Oct. 11-13th...Denver, Co

If you haven't heard of this then here is the basic info. I know this is not local but there are some semi local stores holding the qualifiers for this. I will be posting those locations in the near future.


Every 100 years, the Imperial Fists and their successor chapters stage a mighty tournament.  Twelve brotherhoods send their champions to compete in a challenge of combat, in a contest that will not only determine the best amongst them, but to create bonds of brotherhood and allow the brothers to prove that they are worthy of fighting amongst the deadliest warriors of the Imperium.  To even attend is a high honor; to win is an ascent to legend.

The Feast of Blades Invitational is an invitation-only tournament; to participate in the event a player must have placed highly in a qualifier tournament held at their home store.  All Feast of Blades qualifier tournaments use the same format, missions, and scoring to ensure an even competition.  In 2013, these qualifying tournaments will be held in hundreds of stores across nearly every state.

If you're skilled enough to place highly in one of these events, you win the chance to compete in one of the most prestigious and difficult tournaments in 40k, period.  Every single player is an expert, every combatant is among the best their region had to offer.  While placing first is undeniably the highest honor, every hard-fought victory represents skill over the thousands of potential opponents who did not make the cut.  In fact, every entrant receives a Crux Terminatus to represent the fact that they bear an elite skill.

This tournament has been called "the hardest to win" by more than a few top-tier players.  For those looking for a challenge, it is very hard to find one greater and more glorious than the Feast of Blades Invitational tournament.

Event Details:

Seven rounds of 40k carnage against some of the best players in the world.
4 games Saturday, 3 Sunday
1850 pts
No Forgeworld (of any kind)
Prizes for every bracket winner, as well as prizes for favorite Opponent and Players choice for appearance.
Fully painted armies and good sportsmanship are REQUIRED.  However,  no sportsmanship or paint scoring victory is determined purely by play
Winner's name inscribed on the Feast of Blades grand tournament standard forever!

Each event will present three players with invites to the national invitational tournament in Boulder, Colorado, 11-13 October 2013. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact each location directly. You may participate in as many events as you wish, but may receive only one invitation. Players wishing to participate who do not intend to attend the invitational tournament may pass their qualifying invitation to a participant with a lesser finish at their discretion.
